Description
The MXQ*B is the newest generation of precision slide tables integrated
with hardened stainless steel guides and rails to isolate the load bearing
from the movement of the dual rods and piston seals. The MXQ*B has higher
rigidity than the MXQ*A type for equivalent bore sizes, or can be down
sized one bore size for equivalent rigidity requirements to save on air
consumption. Its recirculating ball bearings are matched by size to each
slide table with a slight negative clearance resulting in greater accuracy.
The MXQ’s thinly formed special stainless steel slide table reduces
thickness allowing for a larger guide pitch providing high rigidity. The
slide table’s reduced weigh also increases allowable kinetic energy. The
stoppers and shock absorbers are positioned at the center axis to minimize
load deflection. The dowel pin holes positioned on the center axis
standardizes mounting conditions for the basic and symmetric styles. The
end lock option prevents the slide table from dropping in vertical
applications, enhancing safety in the event of air pressure loss.
The 25A- series variations are designed using material compatible with
secondary battery applications and are able to be used in low dew point
environments. The variations eliminate copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) material
where possible, making them compatible with secondary battery manufacturing
for electronics, automotive, and other vehicle types.
