Utility Frequency Spark Tester Insulation Monitor ST-25A
We manufacture Utility Frequency Spark Testers for extrusion and rewind lines to check for defects in cable insulation. ST-25A Utility Frequency Alternating Current AC Spark Tester is a special-purpose test instrument to detect fault of insulation on wire and cable, it is integrated with the technology of solid-state AC voltage regulation and MCU control, the instrument features steady voltage output, high sensitivity of insulation fault detection, versatility, user-friendly, safety and reliability, new construction and beautiful appearance.
How the tester work?
Cable passes through in a high-voltage bead chain electrode in the spark tester, and any insulation fault causes a spark from this electrode to the ground via cable core. Any spark will be detected by spark tester electronics and marked as a fault. The calbels is monitored by spark tester at the cable production line, any fault in cable insulation will be marked and an alarm will be generated, the mark can be found and the fault will be fixed.
