The PSN130S 30 V power supplies feed 30 V DC into the AS-Interface cable and supply the AS-Interface components, but do not include data decoupling. Additional data decoupling units are needed to separate communication signals and supply voltage, see “S22.5 Data Decoupling Modules” or “Data Decoupling Modules for S7?1200” → “DCM 1271 Data Decoupling Module”.
The power supplies are overload and short-circuit proof.
